LUCIANO ESSE (Safari Electronique, Material Series)

LUCIANO SAMBATI, aka LUCIANO ESSE, inizia a lavorare nella scena del clubbing italiano nei primi anni 90. Unitosi allo staff del The Flame inizia ad avere i primi contatti con i decks e il vinile. Decide quindi di trasferirsi a Londra per poter approfondire ulteriormente la sua conoscenza musicale. Viene subito notato da alcuni promoters che gli danno la possibilita' di iniziare a suonare regolarmente in tutti i migliori club Londinesi, dal Fabric al The End, dal The Cross al The Egg.

Nel 2005 inizia ad organizzare un party mensile chiamato ZUM, in collaborazione con lo staff del Minimal Hospital.

Negli anni seguenti diventa resident dj al The Flame Music Department a Milano, passando dal Gasoline al superclub Amnesia.

Nelle estati del 2006 e 2007 e' uno dei resident djs delle domeniche del We Love Sundays @ Space di Ibiza.

Regolarmente suona per lo staff di "Musica e Parole" in clubs come il Clorophilla, il Guendalina e il Cromie.

Il suo sound e' techno minimal con tutte le possibili contaminazioni elettroniche.

Nel 2007 inizia a produrre per le labels Safari Electronique e Kailash. Su Kailash, "Hazard EP", prodotto con il suo partner Toni D, viene remixato da Mark Broom e Arnaud Le Texier; nell'ottobre 2008 esce "Wood EP" sulla Material Series (con remix di Format B), label di Mihalis Safras, per la quale hanno prodotto e remixato artisti come Dubfire, Mathias Kaden e Damian Schwartz. Nel gennaio 2009 Liberacion EP esce su Safari Electronique, ancora una volta con Toni D, con remix di Tolga Fidan.

LUCIANO ESSE has an expert knowledge of music in all its expression. He starts to work in the early nineties in the italian club scene. Then he joins The Flame Crew and he starts to have the first contact with decks and vinyls.

He moves to London in 2001 to make deeper his music knowledge and from summer 2002 he starts to play regularly at all the best clubs, from Fabric to The Egg, from The End to The Cross. In 2005 he starts to organise his own party "ZUM", in collaboration with Minimal Hospital Crew, at the most underground clubs in London. In 2005 he starts his residency with The Flame Music Department in Milan at superclub Amnesia. In summers 2006 and 2007 he is one of the resident djs of "Vitalik Crew" at We Love Sundays at Space in Ibiza. He is monthly resident dj with south of italy crew "Musica e Parole" in such clubs as Clorophilla, Cromie and Guendalina.

In 2007 he starts to produce for Safari Electronique with Arnaud Le Texier. Their first track "Awakenings" is on the Safari Sampler 4. With Toni D releases for Kailash, Rubber Band, Atypical Farm. Their "Hazard EP" on Kailash, with remixes by Mark Broom and Le Texier, is out at the beginning of 2008. In October 2008 he releases "Wood EP" on Material Series, with Toni D and remix by Format B. In January 2009 "Liberacion EP" is out on Safari Electronique with Toni D and rmx by Tolga Fidan.

The music he plays is basically techno in all its electronic shades. His constant music research never ends and allows him to play always different dj sets that find their trademark in big basslines and groovy rythms.
